Growing up in Illinois, Chef David developed a deep appreciation for the way food brings people together. From family kitchens to professional classrooms, he discovered early on that meals made with love have the power not only to satisfy — but to heal.
A proud graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Chef David is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Culinary Therapeutics at the Culinary Institute of America. His approach to cooking blends classical technique with a heart for wellness, serving up dishes that nourish the body and uplift the spirit.
He believes in the sacred connection between food and healing, guided by the wisdom of Scripture:
“The Lord hath created medicines out of the earth; and he that is wise will not abhor them.”
— Ecclesiasticus 38:4, KJV
“Every dish I create is rooted in this belief — that food, prepared with love and wisdom, has the power to heal.”
— Chef David

At 2 Men In A Kitchen, we know that parents care deeply about what their children eat — and so do we.
That’s why we’re committed to using only:
We prepare every meal with care, just like you would at home — ensuring it’s not only tasty but also nourishing and safe. Our goal is to give your child food that fuels their day, supports their health, and puts a smile on their face.
Because when your child eats well, they learn, grow, and thrive.

Fulton County Juvenile Court was one of the first major contracts secured by 2 Men in a Kitchen. With the Lord's guidance, Chef David was entrusted to provide meals not only for the juveniles before their court appearances, but also for the dedicated staff and judges at the courthouse. When the contract came up for renewal, a requirement was introduced to serve pork. As Seventh-day Adventists, following biblical principles that consider pork an unclean meat, as referenced in Leviticus 11:7, Chef David chose to stand by his faith. As a result, the contract was not renewed, but this path led Chef David back to Oakwood Adventist Academy, where his own children had gone to school, allowing him to continue his mission of providing nourishing meals to the next generation.
